Hi

Type more and a lot faster and hit more enters while sending querries to the database. :-)

I would not worry about SQL*Net message from client, it simply means that your client has received the data from the last request and now the server is waiting for the next. If you have a sql*plus session open it useually just sits there doing nothing (generating SQL*Net message from client events)

There are some exceptions as somebody on the list recently pointed out
(forgot who but would guess mr.Wilton)

The following statistics is for a
server-side application ( pro*c ). The connection is established between proc*c to server as "LOCAl=yes and PROTOCOL=BEQ(sqlplus usr/pass) i.e bypassing the tnsnames.ora and listener.ora
