There is also a Pro*C and PL/SQL routine to fix corrupted block problems if you do not have backups.

Find the corrupted object by the following statement:

Select segment_name, segment_type
from dba_extents
where file_id=<your_file#> and
<your_block#> between block_id and block_id + blocks -1
