Export problem

Hi!

Can I export a 7.3.3 database with a 8.1.7 export utility? Theoretically it should work.

EXP-00008: ORACLE error 942 encountered
ORA-00942: Tabelle oder View nicht vorhanden
EXP-00024: Export views not installed, please notify your DBA
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

But why am I getting these error messges? What scripts need to be run to solve this problem?

This is 7.3.3 / 8.1.7 on Win NT.
