    Would you mind not cursing on the list. CA is a 4 letter word around here, just for the reason's you cite. The other is that they make Oracle look cheap.

Where I used to work, they had it will it was still Platinum (before CA took over). It was a decent product, but CA did not provide good support and was always YEARS behind. When we wanted to upgrade the DB from 7.3.4 to 8.1.6 (in late 2000), we found out that CA did not have a version of FastUnload certified to work with any version of Oracle 8. Granted, that was over a year and a half ago, but I'd bet they don't have a version for 9 ready yet either.  

If you go with it, good luck on getting decent support from CA.

Weird question chaps BUT........  

Anyone out there using this product and if so, is there a way of finding out if the product is licenced on your system.  

FYI we are on Tru64.
