RE: Oracle costs??

Like price control organizations/departments that decide for minimum level of wages, prices of items of daily use, etc. perhaps a similar one is required for software industry.

Power units maybe? They were using that for a while, not sure if that is still in effect.

I had talked to an Oracle sales rep today. They were telling me that the price is based on the size of the processor. I am aware of per processor pricing but not per size of the processor. Anyone else hear of pricing based on the size of the processor from Uncle Larry's minions?
