Says:

Overall Database Market:

	IBM/Informix 34.6% up from 33.7%
	Oracle 32% down from 34.1%
	Microsoft 16.3% up from 14%

Unix Market ($3B)
	Oracle 63.3% down from 66.2%
	IBM/Informix 24.7% up from 21.1%

Windows Market ($2.5B)
	Microsoft 39.9% up from 35.4%
	Oracle 34% down from 38.1%
	IBM/Informix 20.7% up from 19.9%

It is said that the war is now waged on prices more than it had been on features. I don't think it's so easy now to dispute the fact that MS and IBM are fast catching up on the features side. IMHO, Oracle couldn't expect itself to stay technologically superior for long what with these two technological giants so close.

Mind you, I have not read what's at the URL, it appears to be down.
