I'm about to start a new job and one of my first tasks will be to specify hardware for a new 9i database. I'd appreciate any procedures, tips, etc. for deciding the hardware configuration (CPU, memory) of a new server that will host the database. It'll mostly likely be a Sun machine. Thanks in advance!
