My experience with this error is to put a blank line at the end of the member that is being executed.

When I try to create a new database (8.1.7) under sun solaris I got the following error:
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

Any Idea? Any help realy appreciated.

This is the contenet of log file which created:

ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel CREATE DATABASE "CMSREPT"

ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE
Disconnected.
