Database MetricsHello Yuval Arnon

I will use three graphs:

  1. Number of SQL statements executed per day.
  2. Mean response time.
  3. CPU usage per day.

In both cases add a reference point that is the mean of the last 30-40 days so they can see any abnormal behavior.

The space statistics are for you and use them only quarterly for management.

If you can add a graph for important applications.

  Hi,

I am looking for ideas on what kind of metrics the DBA group should provide the management on a weekly basis so they can understand how the databases are evolving over time.

These metrics should be simple enough as the management is not Oracle savvy.

  Thanks in advance!

  Yuval.
