Greetings,

If I remember correctly after the install of Oracle 8i, we can delete some of the files(*O and *o) from some directory under $ORACLE_HOME. Probably from $ORACLE_HOME/bin or $ORACLE_HOME/lib or some directory.

Could you please confirm this and is there any white paper any document from Oracle, where it specifies about this.
