Well, MySQL and Oracle are very different, but there's a world of difference
between MySQL and Access too. It's quite possible to use MySQL as a backend database for web hosting and get good performance and decent reliability. I haven't heard of Access being used for that sort of thing.

Check google. Anyway they are completely different. MySQL is more like Access than Oracle.
