Ramon - Perhaps you could tell us what you are trying to accomplish with autiting. I haven't used it myself, but the amount of information will depend on how much auditing you turn on. Dennis Williams

Hi List,

Is there any article that describe the pros and cons about activating the audit options in a Database. In oracle class manuals and Oracle 8i Administrator Guide, there is not enough information about that topic.

What I have read and heard is that DB Audit should be the last option due to the amount of information that gathers.

I would like something more detailed about this.
