Most of the transactions in the redo log are written in this way:

SQL_REDO



set transaction read write;
insert/update/delete something
commit;

'set transaction read write' is the default setting for a transaction and that's why it's there, I quess. Commit is self explaining.

The statements with username = 'SYS' are either you doing something as SYS or recursive SQL.
