 Pls read the Oracle utilities manual,One cannot import the higher version of dump into a lower version of Oracle. You need to run the catexp7.sql in $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin dir in the server to create the export views compatible with lower version of Oracle. Moreover when you post any message in future,pls tell the operating system in which you are trying the same.
