default DB

Hi,

I am new to Oracle DB. There is a m/c where already Oracle 8.1.7. I want to know the following info.

1. How to login into Oracle thru sqlplus -how to know login and passwd?
2. How to see what are the Databases already created.
3. how to create a new Database
4. Is there any default database is already present.
5. What are the tables in a database.
   • Is there any step by step document available for a fresher? *
