Stored Procedures

Well, I finally got permissions to use stored procedures in one of our projects.

Problem is, I'm not all that "butch" when it comes to SP's, so, the question is.

Do any of you have any links to good tutorials that shows how to best utilize them?

Would like to see some examples on what you can do with them. In our case they
will be very simple.

Would be gratefull for any pointers :)
