>From a database that has been up since 12/24/01:

----------------------------------- ------------ ------------
log file single write 165 8
log file switch completion 88 362

log file parallel write 2,313,568 108,510
log file sync 2,250,884 139,874

This is on Win2k, 5 RAID 10's, 1 Gig RAM, 2 CPU's, on a rather busy database.

Just providing it for comparison purposes.

        Subject: PERFORMANCE question?

Hi
I checked my database and found

EVENT TOTAL_WAITS TIME_WAITED
----------------------------------- ----------- -----------
log buffer space 12264 1094425
log file parallel write 703116 227568
log file sequential read 226133 65773
log file single write 584 1298
log file switch completion 940 77197
log file sync 746881 8891791

log file sync value is increasing and waits are high.when i check all ratios
the ratios looks good. What could be problem? Thx
