class=695530304-04022002>Are there any "gotchas" with restoring just one datafile from a hot backup and applying the archive logs? Will applying the archive logs only affect the restored datafile? For instance, if I have a hot backup from Monday and all the archive logs to the current date and a disk crashes which contains the datafile, can I restore just the datafile and apply all the archive logs from Monday forward? Are changes only applied to the restored datafile?
