Hello All,
How does oracle allocate memory to oracle shadow process (client). eg. oracleORCL
(DESCRIPTION=(LOCAL=no

)(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=BEQ))). I have dedicated connections to the databases and the processes are using 320M-340M of memory. Is there any parameter I can change to reduce the memory allocation to about 30M or less.

Current value for Sort area size value is 65536.

Thanks
Sonia P.
