Ron,
Does the dll already exist from a prior install failure? If it is NOT an NT dll then move it to another location and try the install again. Check the permissions and ownership on the file and make sure that you can overwrite it.

I keep getting the following error while trying to install Oracle 8.1.7 on

There is over 1G of freespace on the drive. If I say ignore, the installer
continues to run.
Any ideas?
