I happen to have done some fairly extensive research on the Irish version of these tools :-),
but the results are mixed.
There isn't much in the way of malts , but being triple distilled does help.

All in all though the Scottish versions are more preferable - especially the Lagavullin.
(It's a nice distillery - you should go there sometime Jared, you'll love it)

and i use TOAD as well and am happy with it. but revert to the command line tools and vim for anything more then simple stuff.
