Please mail me the "metalstink" thing -- I've never heard of it. I agree that it sounds like I need to do a brutal erase.

sounds like you need to do the brutal erase of all oracle products from a windoze machine. THere is a document on metalstink about how to remove oracle entirely from a windoze machine, if you dont have metalstink access let me know, i'll email it to you direct.
