Chris - Thanks, that fixed the problem. Anyone else that installs either the
client or other Oracle pieces on the Pentium 4 should file this one away.
The second workaround method was easy and successful.

We are able to install the Oracle 8.1.7 client on most Windows machines, but now on we are failing on a few new machines.
On Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition 4.102222A
The error is:
JREW caused an invalid page fault in module JAVAI.DLL at 0177:6ee3803a
Has anyone encountered this? Thanks.
