Looking for help with the Oracle installer. HP-UX 10.20, database = 8.0.4.3. When attempting to start the oracle installer from the CD-ROM drive, it hangs and nothing happens. Shortly after this, the Unix server load average creeps up to above 40 - and it is a 4 CPU system, but the CPUs are idle and glance shows no activity. Also, the listener for the system starts to hang, cannot do anything. Once connecting to the listener, you cannot do a status or stop. In short, things get so bad that the server needs to be rebooted. This has happened twice in 2 days. Anybody every see anything like this?
