Oracle and LDAP servers

Hi

In reading MetaLink I have come up with the following list of LDAP servers that are certified for use with Oracle.

in 8.1.7 - OID, NDS, Active Directories and iPlanet

in 9i - OID, Active Directories

Can anyone update this?

When they say an LDAP is certified for use with Oracle does this mean that the Oracle Internet Directory C API and PL/SQL API(dbms_ldap) will work against them? Or does it just mean that the OID can sync to it.

My real question is if I want to use iPlanet or some such beast how do I identify,
and authorize Oracle database users?

Thanks,

Ben
