Generally, if you are on a version of Oracle that has a bug free implementation of LMT's, then use them.

8.1.7.1 or 8.1.7.2 I believe.

There's no reason not to use them otherwise.

I would like to know on what basis we arrive at the decision of making a tablespace as LOCALLY Managed / DICTIONARY Managed...

Any Suggestions / Tips....
