Maybe it will be known as "the application server formally know as"

and have "slave" written all over the documentation ????

OWAS
OAS
IAS AS?

I'm betting it will be called either iS or AS.

The next one after that will be called just 'S'.

Then there will be an application server with no name. Just a dot maybe. Maybe nothing at all.
