That's what I thought but the class has Class Type of Oracle. And under that class type the multiple data stream is greyed out. So I shouldn't use "oracle" as the class type then?

Hi all,

I have a question regarding RMAN working with Netbackup. Is it possible to kick off multiple streams
to write to the tape? I tried through RMAN to have 4 channels, but they are queued at the Netbackup
Server. I want them to go in parallel. Now, it seems that for the Class Type Oracle, it's won't allow
multiple data sterams. That option is greyed out.

Thanks

Richard Ji
