 please give more details about this
 management server in oracle.
 i tried many times to connect on
 it... the same error i got vtk-1000..etc. never i succeeded.... on it thanks.

Hi,
 I'm trying using OEM for Oracle's Personal Edition 98, what is the value of
 Management Server ?, I tried with PC name and 127.0.0.1 both gave me error message VTK-1000: Unable to connect to management server.... Or perhaps OEM is not for Oracle 8i Personal Edition.
 Please help
