Here is a typical piece of code from the DDL SQL script that creates an index. It appears that the tablespace used for indexes is SOS2_TBLSPC. Correct?

Ken

CREATE INDEX FK_AR_ACCESSRIGHTID ON
  ACCESS_RIGHT(ACCESS_RIGHT_ID)
  TABLESPACE SOS2_TBLSPC PCTFREE 10 STORAGE(INITIAL 122880 NEXT 106496 PCTINCREASE 0 )  -----Original Message-----

If you don't specify an index tablespace the index will occupy the same tablespace as the Table...
It's probably best to have a tablespace for indexes and one for the tables If you create an index tablespace, a good name might be 'User_Indexes' ?

I am creating a database from a DDL SQL script. I have created the primary and temp tablespaces because their names were referenced in the code. However, there is no name reference anywhere that I can find for the "index" tablespace. Do I need to create one, or will Oracle take care of that for me? If I have to create on, what name do I give it, or does it matter?
