The Problem Occured upon Extracting on Solaris 2.8 the Cold Backup of a Database existing in Solaris 2.6 for Oracle ver 7.3.4.5

$ uname -a

SunOS SF2A 5.8 Generic_108528-10 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire

Qs. Are there Any O.S./Oracle Patches which Should be Applied when Doing Such an Extract ?
