Hi lists,

We can see users password using

ps -ef |grep sqlplus

(if we run a job using sqlplus scott/tiger @${runfile} ).

To prevent this we can run our code

sqlplus -s <<EOF
scott/tiger
@${runfile}
EOF Is there a similar way in export hiding the password (preventing users to see the password) . I tried it with EOF. But its not working.

I need to setup the export in cron.

can anybody through some light on this.....

Thnx and regards,
Srinivas
