You
can "import" the table via an ODBC link.

Make
sure that you have an ODBC datasource set up with Micro$ofts ODBC driver for Oracle for the Oracle instance, open up your Access "database window" then from your File menu choose "Get External Data/Import" you will be faced with a normal select file menu, down in the box "Files of type" choose ODBC Databases. Set up your connection accordingly and away you go. Another alternative is just to link to the table via ODBC (depending on what you want to do with the access database, this will just get the data from Oracle as and when requested, and you don't have to worry about synchronising or anything), or as you said, export to a comma delimited file, then import in much the same way as above, just choosing a different "File of type".

P.S. I
seem to remember there being a fairly comprehensive section on this in the access help files.. Maybe they could help describe it a little better than I..;)

P.P.S.
Flaming? How could we flame such a robust "RDBMS"! The shear joy of working with access that I get EVERY DAY doesn't warrant FLAMING! ;P No sir.. Not from me... (Seriously though - 100,000 in an Access table is really nothing..)

  Hi!
What would be the easiest way to dump out an Oracle table and   move it into Access? (approx. 100,000 rows) No flaming, please... ;)
I assume that there is no tool for Access to read Oracle   dmp-files, right?
Is spooling it out into an ASCII file (blanks or   comma-seperated) the only way? I just need a single table (no refs or the   like).
  Any ideas?
  This is 8.1.7 on Solaris.
