Of course its a per annum salary. We DBAs would have been millionaires by now if that kind of a salary were paid monthly.....and people would have flocked
to the UK instead of the US :)). But then again, it is quite a comfy salary in the UK since the cost of living is low.

In the UK, it is around £30-35K. It used to be around £40K but the salaries have dropped after the IT bubble burst.
