I've often run into problems with Microsoft's ODBC drivers. Use drivers from
Oracle. The error message sounds like a permissions problem but ... the
driver shouldn't be referencing RDB so it sounds like you're using the wrong
driver anyway. Get the
Oracle driver from your client software CD or download it from
http://metalink.oracle.com (as long as you have an account - and you should

Hello All:
When I am trying to connect using ORacle's ODBC Drivers I am getting the
following error . I am using Oracle 7.1 database. Microsoft's ODBC Drivers
for Oracle does not work.
Any help would be appreciated ?

NAtive Error Code:-2003
Driver Message:[Oracle][ODBC][Rdb] Connect Ret 0 Err#10061 WSAECONNREFUSED
Connection refused
