I'm fascinated to know why anyone would want to reduce
the size of the redo logs...The only example I can
think of to increase the frequency of log switches for
a standby node...If I wanted to do this, I'd make my
logfiles LARGER and explicitly control the switches so
I know exactly when then occur and how out of date my
standby will get....
