Hi,
I have one database running in Oracle 7.3.4 and I want to export this to Oracle 8.1.7.
I created the DMP file using Data manager (Version 7) and want to import the File in the new database using the OEM 2.2, but I have problems.

My question are:

When I try to import the database using the import wizard. it only allows me to select the DMP file in the server machine. Cant I have the DMP file in my client computer?

When I press next, the programs hangs on second step: "Request received, waiting to read the file". And after hours I have to STOP the process.

What is wrong? Can I do that?

Thanks for all

Oscar
