HP-UX 11.0/8.1.7.1/DBV Question

Everyone:

We noticed some weird ORA-600 messages in our of our test databases, so we ran 'dbv' against them. The database was shut down. Our SYSTEM tablespace shows 'Undo Segment Corrupt' errors, and I have two questions about this.

  1. Does this mean my SYSTEM rollback segment is hosed? And if so, how do I fix it?
  2. How come when 'dbv' completes, it does not exit back to UNIX with a non-zero status code? I cannot check for dbv failing if the silly thing doesn't set the return code correctly!

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike
