I've never really bothered about things like hit-ratios. Once you have roughly the right amount of memory in place, the system is either doing things the right way or it isn't. So I tend to look at v$sql if Oracle is too busy, and v$session_event if Oracle isn't working hard enough. Otherwise v$filestat is a quick indicator of possible I/O threats and v$sess_io is a quick guide to which session to target.
