file changed during tape backup ???

Hi all,

I got the following from our Unix admin. Looks like control files for some database on many boxes got changed when being backed up on tape. (I suppose the backup on tape happened during mid-night) Does anybody know what the reason is, and why this only happened to control files? Thank you. -- Janet

Following are Oracle warnings during the nightly tape backup:

SNOW:

during save
