Hi,

We r doing fresh typical installation of oracle 8.1.7.0.0. But it always hangs at step
NET8 CONFIGURATION ASSISTANT in progress..... if i kill this process and try to create database from database configuration assistant...
i get error
TNS-12560.......
even if i create the service with oradim still same error...... what might be the reason......
user has administrator rights......
