Yes, one of the reasons we upgraded to 8.1.7.2 was to fix this bug. Can't report just yet as to whether it works or not.

are you using oracle 8.1.7?
if you are, this is caused by a bug on this version. you will only need to add another parameter in your init.ora... search metalink for the details of how to fix this...
