Cyral, The frame is nothing more than the component that holds the equipment. Oracle can support upto 256 instances in a RS6000/SP environment. I have setup 16 instances on 16 nodes in SP environment and have seen upto 100 instances on 100 nodes. This is the long answer to you question which is yes.
