RE: Sad News - Jets crashed into World Trade Center

I was watching the news when it collapsed. It looked as though the weight of the aircraft and the damaged structure buckled at the top. The rest of it just collapsed on a floor by floor basis (accumulated weight and force of the upper floors coming down). Sort of an acordion effect.
