Hi DBAs,

I wud like to know the advantages of using MTS connections.

While querying V$session, i found the SERVER column showing

DEDICATED
NONE values for some sessions. What does this mean? and which type of connection is good?
Is there any recommendations like which type of application shud use such type of connections.

Any doc or ppt avail. in the net ?

Thanks in advance.

Arul.
