I have downloaded them successfully using a DSL connection and Netscape 4.7. The 9i files for Linux on OTN are compressed. I used gunzip to uncompress them and then cpio -idv < file_name Notice the "less than" symbol in front of the file name.

I want to download the 9i database from technet. The download works fine, but the uncompress fails.

Has anybody done a successfull download ??
