oracle installation on linux error

When I try to setup oracle on Linux Mandrake 7 , I 
encounter an error.


 



When I try to run /mnt/cdrom/orainst/oratab.sh it 
gives error  GROUPS :readonly variable. Why can that be?


 



I run the script as the root user.
