Hi

We've Oracle 8.1.5  8.1.6 and 8.1.7 on Suse Linux from 7.1 and 7.2 !

We've 6 Databases with this linux and this databases runnig since 01.02.01 as productive databases by switzerland post !

The size from the databases is from 10GB to 80GB on Compact Server and we've no problems with it.

Regards Rudi

Sorry everyone, I know you were just discussing   this recently.
What is the most stable combination of Oracle &   Linux?  What would you recommend?  I want to say the consensus was   SCO Linux but I don't quite remember.    Thank you
