Darren,
Paul has made some excellent points.
Just keep in mind that only versions 8.1.6 and later
are supported on Win2K.
I'm not saying earlier versions *won't* work (I have
the 7.3.4 client running on Win2K), only that if you
find yourself in a situation where you're getting
bizarre behavior the first thing that OWS is likely to
tell you to do is to move to a supported
configuration.
