RE: Copy of redo

Hi Aldi:

I would definitively not place redo logs over RAID5, this would decrease performance, why
don't you try to place them in a dedicated disk or over RAID 1.

For the database using disk mirror I would just create one copy of my redo, and mirror it using the disk mirror.
Under some circunstances Oracle writes one redo log member first and then to the other (I mean secuentially, not in parallel)
